Pokemon Legends: Arceusabandons the random encounter system in exchange for a world where trainers can physically approach Pokemon to catch or battle them. The region this time around is Hisui or rather ancient Sinnoh.
Because of this, modern technology used to heal Pokemon, such as the Pokemon Centers, do not exist. Fortunately, there are ways for players to heal up their team without having to waste potions or revives.

InPokemon Legends: Arceus, the player’s house in Jubilife Village and the various camps in each part of Hisui function as “Pokemon Centers.” Unlocking a new region guarantees one base camp. To unlock the second base camp of a region, players must complete a Request. This can be as simple as finding an NPC, but others, such as theBogbound Camp in the Crimson Mirelands, are a bit trickier to unlock.
Finding Request 31
Request 31 is available on a player’s first visit to the Crimson Mirelands. In order to travel to the Mirelands, players will need to have started Main Mission 7: Arezu’s Predicament. The first order of business is to visit the Solaceon Ruins, but if players decide to wander about, they’ll find an NPC near theSludge Mound(indicated on the left image above) who’s looking to set up a base camp.
He’ll ask players to find Odo, who’s literally up the road at where the Bogbound Camp is to be set up. Speak to Odo to initiate the final step of Request 31.

The goal here is todefeat or catch the three Stunkyat the base camp. Unfortunately, these Stunky won’t swap out with each other after one of them’s been defeated. This will be a 3-on-1 battle, and players not expecting this will be in for a nasty surprise.
These Stunky are all level 20, so players should be above their level at this point. However, a three against one match isn’t always easy, especially if the Stunky are faster than the player’s Pokemon. The best way to defeat them is to bring Pokemon that have type advantages against Stunky or fast and hard-hitting Pokemon.
Once they’re defeated, Bogbound Camp will be unlocked.Like every other camp, players can heal, buy items, store items, and swap out their Pokemon there.
Types Effective Against Stunky
Stunky is a Poison/Dark-type, which makes it immune to Psychic-type moves, and resists moves that are Grass, Poison, Dark, and Ghost-type. It has only one weakness: Ground-type.
Fortunately, there are plenty of Ground-type Pokemon in the Crimson Mirelands. In fact, players can catch a Hippopotas near the Sludge Mound, a Ground-type Pokemon that’s alsoneeded for completing Request 24.
For those that prefer to battle these Stunky with their team, they should make sure their strongest Pokemon is listed first before speaking to Odo. Stunky are fast Pokemon with good Attack, but their Defense and Special Defense are poor.
