Takaya Kagami, Yamato Yamamoto, and Daisuke Furuya’sSeraph of the End: Vampire Reignmanga series will soon be coming to an end. The announcement was made by Kagami in the author comments section of the 26th tankōbon volume.
The series’ 27th tankōbon volume will ship out in Japan sometime in June. It’s unclear if the upcoming volume will be the series’ last.

Seraph of the Endbegan serialization in 2012 in Shueisha’s Jump SQ. magazine. Kagami writes the series while Yamamoto illustrates and Furuya handles the storyboards. Themanga has inspiredtwo spin-off manga, light novels, games, and an anime adaptation.
TheSerapetit!〜Seraph of the End four-frame manga〜spin-off manga ran in Jump SQ.19 and later Jump SQ. from 2014-2015. Kagami, Yamamoto and Furuya are all credited as writers, while Ren Aokita handled the illustrations. Another spin-off,Seraph of the End: Guren Ichinose: Catastrophe at Sixteen, began serialization in Kodansha’s Monthly Shōnen Magazine in 2017. Kagami writes the story and Yo Asami handles the illustrations.
TheGuren Ichinose: Catastrophe at Sixteenlight novels were publishedfrom 2013-2016, with Yamamoto handling the artwork for the series. A second light novel series,Seraph of the End: The Story of Vampire Mikaela, began publication in 2015. Only two volumes have been released so far. A third and final light novel spin-off series,Seraph of the End: Guren Ichinose: Resurrection at Nineteen, began publication in 2017.
A 24-episodeanime adaptationfrom Wit Studio aired during the Spring and Fall 2015 seasons. Daisuke Tokudo (Attack on Titan: The Final Season,Tokyo Magnitude 8.0) directed the series, with Hiroshi Seko (Attack on Titan,Jujutsu Kaisen) handling the series composition. The series’ score was a collaborative effort between composers Takafumi Wada, Asami Tachibana, and Megumi Shiraishi. An OVA episode,Seraph of the End: Vampire Shahal, was released in May 2016.
An Android and iOS RPG,Seraph of the End: Bloody Blades, was released in 2015. Another game,Owari no Seraph: Unmei no Hajimari, was released for the PS Vita the same year.
VIZ Media publishes theSeraph of the Endmanga in English, while Verical licenses theGuren Ichinose: Catastrophe at SixteenandGuren Ichinose: Resurrection at Nineteenlight novels. The anime is licensed by Funimation in North America.
