The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrimlets players loose in a massive open world where they are free to complete quests, fight monsters, learn magic spells, and do whatever else they set their mind to. Nearly everything that isn’t nailed down can be picked up bySkyrimplayers, who can then sell the items, consume them, or take them to their homes to start a collection.
While someSkyrimplayers collect rare weapons orDaedric artifacts, others decide to collect other things. Reddit user FamineArcher has amassed an impressive collection of cheese wheels inSkyrim, with countless hunks of cheese sitting in a huge pile in their home. As for how they managed to collect so much cheese inSkyrim, FamineArcher explained that they always grab cheese out in the game world when it’s legal for them to do so, and they always buy cheese when merchants have some handy.

FamineArcher’s ultimate goal is to fill half of the room with cheese, which will be no easy task. Thecheese inSkyrimdoesn’t take up a ton of space, so FamineArcher is going to have collect hundreds more cheese hunks if they want to reach their goal. However, all of this cheese stored in one spot is already causing some technical problems.
If FamineArcher usesSkyrim’s Unrelenting Force Shouton the cheese pile, it causes their game to lag significantly. They also revealed that adding new cheese to the pile causes some slowdown, so it seems that the more cheese is concentrated in this location, the worse these issues will become. It’s possible that these technical hurdles will prevent FamineArcher from achieving their goal of filling half the room with cheese, but that remains to be seen.
Besides filling theirSkyrimhousewith cheese, FamineArcher plans on filling up a significant portion of it with bread as well. Responding to a comment on the Reddit thread, theSkyrimplayer confirmed that they are already working on collecting bread as well, but that since bread is smaller than cheese, it doesn’t look as cool as their huge cheese collection.
Collecting cheese inSkyrimis one thing, but people can take their love for cheese to the next level if they install a certain mod for the game. There is a mod for the game called Mammoth Cheese that, as its name implies, changesSkyrim’s mammoths to giant cheese monsters. Being able to collect mammoth-sized hunks of cheese would certainly make filling a house with cheese easier, but otherwise cheese collectors have to rely on the smaller wheels found throughoutSkyrim’s open world.
