Traditionally,Skyrimplayers who have a grievance towards Nazeem will take to killing the snooty character themselves, but things take a weird turn when one fan notices that even the game itself takes aversion to the hated character. There isso much content when it comes toThe Elder Scrollsseries, with each game offering plenty to see and do. It’s no wonder that players can spend hundreds of hours roaming the provinces, but the games would be nothing without its residents.
Skyrimin particular has some memorable NPCs, whether it’s the faithful Lydia, sworn to shoulder the Dragonborn’s burdens, or the Prince of Madness himself, Sheogorath. Whether good or bad, these characters breathe life into the world and give players someone to interact with in between bouts of dragon killing. However, there is at least one citizen who is so detested, and has been pretty much since day one, that even the epic Bethesda RPG itself seems to take a disliking to him.

That person is none other than Nazeem, a Redguard who resides in the city of Whiterun. In a recent post on Reddit, user Old-Brilliant-8862 showed that evenSkyrimdoesn’t mind murdering the offending character, saving the player from having to do it. A brief clip shows that when the user exits the Bannered Mare inn, a figure can be seen falling to the ground out of nowhere. Upon closer inspection, this poor soul turns out to be Nazeem, having somehow been the victim of gravity at the hands of the very game he resides in.
It truly is a weird thing to witness, especially given that it just so happens to be one of the game’s most hated characters. Over the years, fans have seen somepretty weird things happen inSkyrim, most of which are caused by glitches. It’s partly the reason whyTES5is still as popular today as it was when it released back in 2011. Many are more than keen to showcase some of the bizarre things they’ve witnessed during their playthrough, and Old-Brilliant-8862’s clip is just one more example to add to the pile.
For those who aren’t familiar with the game, there is at least onemajor reason whySkyrimfans hate Nazeem. It’s largely down to the fact that he has a very elitist attitude towards the Dragonborn, often heard asking the player if they ever get to the Cloud District before quickly adding, “oh, what am I saying - of course you don’t.” This has caused a lot of ire over the years, and it seems as if even the game itself is joining in this collective hatred of the NPC.
