There are plenty of ways gamers can enjoy their time playingStardew Valley. The game featuresa plethora of activitesfor players to really get sunk into, such as farming, fishing, mining and cooking. The game features 40achievementslinked to these activities, and there are various in-game rewards attached to some of these achievements.

However, players who are striving to be completionists will have to complete every single achievement in the game. Someachievements in particular are more difficult than others, and players will find they have to put a lot of time intoStardew Valleyto unlock all of them.
8Joja Co. Member Of The Year
Whilst this achievement isn’t necessarily difficult to acquire, it’s just plain wrong in the eyes of some players. The achievement requires the player tobecome a Joja Co. member, and then unlock all the community development perks through various purchases.

The reason this achievement is so difficult is that it requires players to knock the Community Center down to make way for the Joja Warehouse, which just feels so morally incorrect that players will often try to avoid this achievement altogether. Most players will stick with the Community Center, and players willing to join Joja are pretty rare to find.
7Gourmet Chef
Stardew Valleyplayers have a plethora of cooking recipes to explore and try out. This achievement, however, challenges players to cook every single one of the recipes in the game. This can bequite the challenge, as some recipes require some intricate ingredients, and players need to make sure they plan out their farming carefully to ensure they have everything they need.
Luckily, this achievement is definitely worth the player’s time, as cooking is incredibly helpful for their farming life. Cooked food will often provide players will a huge boost to their health and stamina, allowing them to get more out of their day. Creating new recipes is certainly a challenge, but definitely an interesting one.
6Craft Master
As players advance throughStardew Valley, they’ll soon learn that there areplenty of crafting recipesto keep them busy. The Craft Master achievement requires players tocraft every oneof these items in the games. Whilst players may be more interested in crafting the best equipment they can, or making useful items for their farm, if they want this achievement, they’ll have to start crafting some more niche recipes.
The reason this achievement is so tough is that some recipes require some pretty rare items to craft them with, and players may struggle to get their hands on them. Players also have limited resources, so they will have to plan out what they want to craft and distribute their supplies carefully.
5Polyculture
Stardew Valley, at its heart, is a farming simulator.The Polyculture achievementsounds pretty simple, considering players should be focusing on farming - the achievement requires players to ship each crop 15 times. For the more common crops, this is easy, and players will most likely naturally hit the requirements through normal gameplay.

Unfortunately, some crops are rarer than others, and require a lot of time and effort to grow, such as the Ancient Fruit, so shipping 15 of them may prove more difficult than players expect.
4Protector Of The Valley
The Protector Of The Valley achievement requires players to complete every single Monster Slayer goal from the Adventure Guild. This can often take quite a bit of grinding, and heavily depends on how much the playeractually enjoys fighting monsters.
Players will also have to wait until they’ve unlocked several areas in the game before they can complete this achievement. Some of the monsters are unique tothe Calico Desert’s skull caverns, whereas some can only be found at the volcanodungeon on Ginger Island.
3Master Angler
The Master Angler achievement inStardew Valleysounds relatively simple - playersneed to catch every fishat least once. Unfortunately, this takes a lot of time and patience, as some fish are rarer than others, can only be caught in certain places and are only available at specific times in the year. Some fish even require specific weather conditions.

This achievement often involves being at the right place, at the right time. Players will need a whole lot of luck to get the Master Angler achievement, making it one of the more challenging in the game.
2Mystery Of The Stardrops
Stardrops are an incredibly helpful, and rare, item inStardew Valley. They will boost the farmer’s energy, allowing them to do more in a day before getting tired. This achievement requires players to find everyStardropin the game.
There are seven in total, and some can beparticularly tricky to locate. A few Stardrops require players to complete other achievements or collections, such as the museum, or Master Angler achievement, making this achievement incredibly difficult to obtain. Luckily, there are a few easier Stardrops, such as the one obtained from Old Master Cannoli, or at the Stardew Valley Fair Shop, but most of the Stardrops are extremely challenging to access.
1Fector’s Challenge
Fector’s Challenge is one of the hardest achievements inStardew Valley, as it requires the player to complete ‘Journey Of The Prairie King’ without dying. Players can find this game in the Stardrop Saloon, although most players will struggle to beat the game altogether, never mind doing a deathless run.
Whilst this achievement does take a lot of skill and planning, it also requires the player to get lucky with their items. This achievement is incredibly challenging, especially considering the laidback nature ofStardew Valley.
