Stardew Valleygives its players great flexibility when it comes to designing their farm. Players can move buildings, expand their home, and shape the surrounding area almost as they wish. This flexibility has led to many players expressing their creativity and bringing other games and shows into the world ofStardew Valley. Inspired byBreaking Bad, one player remade a lab from the show in their own shed.
Stardew Valleyhas players get to knowand explore the area of the same name. The game has players farming, mining, and exploring its world throughout its four seasons and gives them the option to create an ever-larger farm.Breaking Badwas a crime drama television show that aired for five seasons between 2008 and 2013.

U/oOHITMANOo decided to bring thewild world ofBreaking Badto sleepyStardew Valley. An odd mix on the surface but the end result is impressive. Their shed is completely redesigned and looks just like a functioning laboratory. A mix of equipment, bushes, and devices are placed all around the shed in order to replicate the superlab from the show. Even their character is dressed and redesigned in order to recreate the look of Walter White from the show. U/oOHITMANOo mentioned that this was all inspired by unsurpassable z’s shed design contest. Their entry successfully made it past the first round but failed to get any further.
This shed is a fantastic display of creativity. The combination of different items and machines makes this design look as though the show was brought right toStardew Valley. The creator mentions that this creation is from year 11 in the game, explaining some of the more advanced machines and devices in the shed. Though the game doesn’t delve into thecriminal underworld likeBreaking Bad, the build here conveys the activities ofStardew ValleyWalter White quite well.
ThoughStardew Valleyhas a lot of flexibility, there are limitations. Players have a limited amount of buildings with which to build and the general look of their plot of land can’t be altered once chosen. Noting this, however, there is still a lot that players can use to make their farm their own.
Players can add new farm buildings to their plot of land, fence off different sections, and cultivate different pieces of land. There are a bunch of different devices and machines to place in their buildings as well. This creative environment is part of the reason why this game has been such a success. And it has led to great creations and tributes such as this one.
