Life is tough for a kid in Cydonia. The main Martian colony inStarfieldis a mining town on a hostile planet, and there aren’t many other kids to play with or schools to go to.

Still, kids like Renee Shelby are making the best of it. Players can find Renee in the residential area, doing his best to pass the time in one of the hallways while his parents are busy with work. Renee needs some help to spread a little happiness and color in a fairly dreary town, and while he doesn’t pay well,Starfieldplayers will get a special bonus once they complete the mission “Space Frogs from Outer Space.”

How to Start Space Frogs from Outer Space

Players can hear about Renee needing help when they pass a random security guard in Cydonia. During daylight hours, he sits on his own in a corridor partway between the main floor of the residential area and the upper exit near the UC Distribution office.

Renee has a clever way to get around his parents' “don’t talk to strangers” rule, and players who humor him can learn about how he passes the time. When he isn’t hanging out with the only other kid his age in Cydonia, he draws, and he likes toput his drawings up on the wallsso everyone can enjoy them. However, he can’t leave the residential area while his parents are away, so he wants players to do the job for him.

Where to Place the Space Frogs

Renee gives players a stack of six posters at the start of the mission. There are six places to put the posters, and these locations don’t change between playthroughs. They are:

Once players set up all six posters, it’s time to return to Renee. Completing the mission provides 100 XP and all the credits Renee can afford: 12. However, this mission also comes with a unique bonus: players who complete it can build Space Frog postersin any outpost they own. These posters cost one Structural and one Ornamental resource each, can be built on the inside or outside of any Structure, and come in five varieties.
