As more people opt to work from home even as Covid-19 pandemic lockdown measures are lessened, the visual stimulus of work desks becomes ever more important. One of the ways gamers and anime fans have been able to spruce up their home work areas is through sometimes gorgeous and usually pricey figurines and statues. While the options for stunning statues are wide ranging,The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wildfans now have a figurine to save up for.
Figurine manufacturer First 4 Figures has unveiled an upcoming PVC statue ofBreath of the Wild’s Revali, the Champion of the Rito. Revealed via a very quick 20 second teaser trailer, fans can catch a glimpse of the Revali statue silhouette and the Rito Champion’s face. Even then, it’s only clearly visible for about three seconds as the epic theme underlies the reveal.

Considering how little is shown of the statue, it should come as no surprise that the trailer is very light on details. Outside of confirmation that the other Champions will follow Revali, the trailer doesn’t even give an indication of what the statue may cost. Ifprevious First 4 Figure releases like the Varia Suit Samusstatue are any indication, then would-be buyers are looking at something ranging between $200-$400.
While there will definitely be some Revali fans prepared to spend the cash for the Rito Champion, there are likely to be many more easily swayed to avoid the smug face on their desk. Revali stands asone of Nintendo’s most hated supporting characters, especially within theLegend of Zeldafranchise. Revali was well known for his disdain for Link withinBreath of the Wild, an antagonistic relationship that was further exemplified within the Musou prequelHyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. It’s thanks to this more surprising opening choice of figurine that First 4 Figures was sure to note that the other champions will be revealed soon.
It is hard to say which of the four remaining champions will be the next to grace fans with a stunning trailer preview, but if fanfare is anything to go by, the next choice will be an obvious one. Considering Revali stands as The Hylian Champion’s harshest rival, it only makes sense thatLink’s friendship with Mipha is celebrated with the next figurine. While Mipha is the obvious choice, there are still two other possibilities of the Gerudo Champion Urbosa and Goron Champion Daruk. While any of the three would have been more enticing opening choice, it does mean that the reveals will only be going up in positive fan reception.
SoZeldafans looking for some Rito flair best start saving up for the upcoming Revali statue. While it will be a hefty investment, fans can take solace that it won’t cost anywhere near as much asmanufacturer Prime 1’s regular output of gaming statues.
