9The Result Of Grogu’s Training Under Luke Skywalker
Now that Din Djarin is a Mandalorian, he is allowed to train and rejoin the lives of his people. As such, Grogu is also allowed in, and one of the first things that Din Djarin does is set Grogu up with a practice fight against a Mandalorian Foundling. (Luckily this opponentwas not a WookieeFoundling.)

In this fight, Grogu and the Mandalorian Foundling are given wrist darts that shoot paint. To win the match, they must shoot their opponent three times. Thanks to Grogu’s training with Luke Skywalker, he can leap in the air like a true Jedi, and shoot his opponent three times.
8Peaks Of Kyrimorut
Bo-Katan has an uneasy relationship with the Children of the Watch. She considers herself a true Mandalorian, for her heritage and birthplace, but does not believe in the Mandalore Creed. When she is climbing the raptor’s nest, she makes mention of the peaks of Kyrimorut, a name that may ring a bell to some hardcoreStar WarsLegendsfans.
Kyrimorut was a stronghold on Mandalore, and was even, inLegends, a place where clone troopers could abandon the Grand Republic and seek refuge. This is the location where Bo-Katan did some of her training, proving why Bo-Katan is one of thebest female characters inStar Wars.

7Order 66 Through Grogu’s Eyes
Once again, audiences are transported to that fateful night in which the clone troopers turned on their Jedi comrades. Order 66 makes yet another appearance, solidifying itself as one of the most crucial moments inStar Warshistory. Audiences watch Order 66through the eyes of Grogu, a Jedi initiate, helpless against the clone army.

The sights of Coruscant are something to behold once again as Grogu is taken through the Jedi Temple and assisted in his journey to escape to safety. Many fans wanted to see Anakin Skywalker in this flashback, but instead witnessed more Jedi fall.
6501st Clone Troopers
Although all clone troopers were involved in Order 66, there was only really one group that infiltrated the Jedi Temple on Coruscant and raked in the numbers of Jedi slaughter. The 501st were indicated by their blue stripes and were the clone troopers of Anakin Skywalker, the fallen Jedi Knight who became Darth Vader.
Throughout this episode, audiences will see blue clone troopers, indicating that they are the 501st battalion, loyal to Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader. Even better still, is the fact that they are once again voiced by Temuera Morrison, who plays the clones, Jango Fett, and Boba Fett.

5Kelleran Beq Comes To The Rescue
This Easter egg was a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. Many have wondered for years who rescued Grogu from the Jedi Temple, and fans finally have their answer. As the elevator doors open, none other than Kelleran Beq comes to the aid of Grogu, wielding two lightsabers.
This fan moment is elevated by the fact that Kelleran Beq is played by Ahmed Best, the actor most famous for portraying Jar Jar Binks, a character and actor who was unfairly treated for years. It’s great to see Ahmed Best shine as Kelleran Beq, and he’s even a returning character from Disney Plus’Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge.

4Naboo Guards
Awaiting Kelleran Beq and Grogu is a Nubian yacht ship, along with some Naboo guards. They are noted by their distinct armor and blaster pistols, and they assist Kelleran in fighting the invading clone troopers. Seeing guards from Naboo again is a treat for any fan of theStar Warsprequels, yet it adds morequestions to theStar Warsmythos.

Why were Naboo guards assisting the Jedi? Perhaps they were told to by Padmé Amidala and her allies, which shows that the Jedi are not alone in the galaxy, and there are those out there that wish desperately to help them.
3Mudhorn Crest
Each Mandalorian clan is different, and they have their insignia. Din Djarin has no clan, and in his near-fatal incident with a Mudhorn, was given that as the symbol of his newly forged clan. As the leader of clan Mudhorn, there is only one other member:Din’s Foundling, Grogu.
The Armorer recognizes Clan Mudhorn and even gives Grogu a new piece of chest armor with the Mudhorn insignia attached, showing how, although they are a clan of only two, their power is great, and eager to grow one day.

2Ragnar, Son Of Paz Vizsla
Clan Vizsla is famous in theStar Warsfranchise, as their ancestor was the first and only Jedi from Mandalore. This Jedi also wielded the Darksaber, the only black-bladed lightsaber which is the token of ruling all of Mandalore. However, with Pre Vizsla’s death at the hands of Maul, it was expected that the clan ended.
InThe Mandalorian, the clan resumes with Paz Vizsla, and now, anew member has been introduced: Ragnar Vizsla, the son of Paz Vizsla. Perhaps this child will be friendly rivals with Grogu, much like how Paz and Din Djarin have a rivalry of their own.

1There’s Always Bigger Fish
An unknown raptor-like creature is defeated by the Mandalorians, and as it plummets toward the waters below, it is quickly snatched up and eaten bya larger sea creature. This moment not only shows how dangerous this planet is, but how Qui-Gon Jinn’s philosophy remains true even in death. As he once said: “There’s always bigger fish.”
This dangerous raptor saw Mandalorians as prey, and now this giant raptor has become the prey of an even larger creature. The cycle continues, and it’s a fun reference to theStar Warsprequels that many fans will be happy about.
