Pokemon GOplayers that want to add a shiny Mew to their collection have until 8:00pm local time on July 12 to purchase the Masterwork Research story and get the All-in-One 151 quest.Shiny Mew is one of the rarest Pokemonin existence, and so this marks a unique opportunity forPokemonfans to add the highly elusive creature to their collection.
The All-in-One 151 quest was added toPokemon GOas part of the game’s seventh anniversary celebration. Previously, the quest was available during Pokemon GO Tour: Kanto back in 2021. Anyone that purchased the previous version of the quest won’t be able to participate in this new one, but those that missed out can now purchase and complete it to get a shiny Mew.

The Masterwork Research ticket for theAll-in-One quest inPokemon GOwas first made available on July 6, and now it’s only a matter of hours before it’s removed from the shop. Anyone interested will need to pay $5.00 to purchase the ticket, and then they will also need to open the game before 8:00pm local time. As long asPokemon GOplayers do this, the Masterwork Research quest won’t expire. That meansPokemon GOplayers that purchase the ticket and open the app by 8:00pm tonight have all the time in the world to complete the quests and catch shiny Mew.
It’s possible that there are somePokemon GOplayers who would normally jump at this opportunity that have decided not to buy a ticket as a way to protest the game.Pokemon GOcontroversially made changes to its Remote Raid Pass system that have left many fans frustrated. These same fans havevowed not to make any purchases inPokemon GO, with some going as far as to delete the app from their phone entirely.
Those that aren’t protesting the game will want to ensure that they purchase the All-in-One 151 Masterwork Research story by 8:00pm local time so they aren’t left out. It’s entirely possible that the quest will return in a future update, but that’s not a guarantee. It’s also possible that Game Freak and Nintendo will givePokemonfans the chance to get a shiny Mew in one of themainlinePokemongamesat some point, but that is not a guarantee either. The best bet would be for anyone that really wants shiny Mew for theirPokemon GOcollection to get this Masterwork Research quest while it’s still available.
