With many parts of the world on lockdown or at least practicing safe social distancing, the entertainment industry has been turning to watch parties with Q&As to help stay entertained. A recent watch party featured theGuardians of the Galaxydirector andsome hints aboutGuardians of the Galaxy 3and that wasn’t the last of the MCU watch sessions. One of the latest events featured a virtualThor: Ragnarokwatch party and the film’s director Taika Waititi tagged along to answer fan questions and do some major trolling with fake spoilers for upcoming MCU films.

During the livestream, Taika was his usual hilarious self and had a lot of amazing insight into the making of his first Marvel Cinematic Universe film. In addition to some real behind-the-scenes info on Ragnarok and some exciting hints aboutThor 4(like the fact thatit will makeThor Ragnaroklook safe), the director also took the chance to share a very powerful and fake scene featuring the return of one of Marvel’s fallen heroes.

Thor 4 Fake Script

Although the following script is clearly a joke and shouldn’t be considered spoilers for any future Marvel property, it does spoil some previous Avengers movies, so fans should avoiding reading any further if they somehow haven’t completed the Infinity Saga yet.

The script in question was briefly shared during Taika’s instagram livestream and includes a scene between Thor and a resurrected Tony Stark who is back “because science” to reassemble the Avengereres. Yes, that’s his idea for the group’s new name. Although they’re a little blurry,Gamespotmanaged to grab some screenshots from the stream…

Thor 4 mech suit joke

In addition to the powerful Tony Stark resurrection storyline, the director also did some additional possible trolling by sharing some concept art of a mech suit for Miek. The suit looks absolutely ridiculous, but considering how weird Waititi ikes to get in his films, it’s not outside the realm of possibility that it could actually be real. With a director like Waititi, it can be a bit hard to tell when he is trolling versus actually just pitching off the wall ideas.

Either way, the watch party was a great excuse to rewatchThor: Ragnarokand it will be very exciting to see these characters return in a film of their own in the next couple of years. TheThor: Love and Thunderrelease date was pushed back along with every other MCU filmafterBlack Widowwas delayed, but hopefully that just means there is more time to perfect the script and get ready for production.

Be sure to check back in the near future for more news and updates aboutThor 4and all other upcoming MCU films. Until then, excelsior!
