A famousWorld of Warcraftplayer gets stuck under the Dragon Isles after trying to explore off of the map inDragonflight. This hilarious escapade inWorld of Warcraft: Dragonflightled to unexpected discoveries, adventures, and tons of disconnects.

Rextroy is an infamousWorld of Warcraftplayer known for discovering glitches, exploits, and tricks to accomplish absurd feats, like soloing bosses and adventuring into out-of-bounds areas. SinceDragonflight’slaunch in late November, he has been hard at work exploring every nook and cranny of the Dragon Isles–whether or not he was supposed to be there.

His most recent discovery was a glitched cave inthe Thaldraszus zone ofDragonflight. Before he began his venture, he recruited a number of his guild members to join him for safety, since exploring such areas causes frequent disconnects. Soon after they began their venture, they found a strange egg seemingly floating in space under the ground. Though they had to persist through being disconnected dozens of times, they eventually reached the egg, which seemingly had no reason to be there.

Their adventures didn’t end there.Rextroy and his fellowWorld of Warcraftplayers dove deeper underground, discovering the corpse of a friendly harpy NPC, an underground cave of glitched water, and strange ruins. Unfortunately, the disconnect fields got stronger and stronger, to the point where Rextroy would be kicked from the game after every step. The disconnect field eventually became too powerful, causing Rextroy’s character to be trapped underground. After several days of trying, he eventually resorted to usingWorld of Warcraft’sStuck Character service to rescue him.

Players can’t get enough ofRextroy’s hilarious hijinks inWorld of Warcraft. Some of his fans shared their own stories of when they got stuck, both within the same cave and in other places around Azeroth. Others joked about how Blizzard places these secrets in the game specifically for Rextroy to discover, or claimedWorld of Warcraftshould pay him for all the glitches he finds.

Hilariously,World of Warcraftplayers will probably be going underground in the Dragon Isles very soon. Hints acrossDragonflightseem to point towards Patch 10.1 being in a subterranean zoneas players chase Iridikron and the other Primal Incarnates. That said, Rextroy’s spelunking adventure was certainly not whatWorld of Warcrafthad in mind. If Patch 10.1 does take players under the Dragon Isles, hopefully players won’t experience quite as many disconnects as Rextroy did in his venture.
