When you beginXDefiant, you’ll notice that the DedSec faction is locked. Before you can play as the iconic hackers fromWatch Dogs 2,you’ll need to grind hard and unlock DedSec. This guide will help you gain access to the righteous hacker group so that you can use their unique skills inXDefiant.
How To Get The DedSec Faction
Thankfully, there are two different ways to unlock the DedSec faction inXDefiant.
Complete The Major Challenge
To get the DedSec faction for free, you will need to complete its corresponding Major Challenge, which requires you to earn a whopping700,000 XP. This would take a considerable amount of time – about 30 hours or more – but is completely worth it if you want to play as these tech-savvy hackers.
You can earn XP points byplaying matches and trying toget as many killsas you can. Additionally,completing challengesalso nets you adecent amount of XP.
Purchase With Real Money
If you’d rather skip the grind for 700,000 XP and instantly unlock DedSec, you can opt forpurchasing it with XCoins. You can choose from the following options:
