Since the release ofTears of the Kingdomat the beginning of May, many fans have been making fan art based on Link’s latest adventure, but few are likely as unusual as this Korok figure.

InTears of the Kingdom, players will find many Koroks scattered across the land during their playthroughs. These wooden forest people are valuable to players as they give out Korok seeds, which can begiven to Hestu to expand Link’s inventory. While Koroks typically are not intimidating to look at and often need Link’s help inTears of the Kingdom, one fan decided to put a new spin on their design.

In a post on Reddit, a user known as LunarRose shared a couple of images of a recent Korok figure they made out of clay inspired by a design they had seen. While Koroks have been the subject of fan art in the past, this model stood out due to its Yiga Clan inspiration. The design, which translated well to a clay figure, saw one ofTears of the Kingdom’s Koroksdecked out in Yiga Clan attire. The post included two images, one from the front and another from the back, showing the tiny Korok wearing the iconic Yiga Clan mask. In addition, it held a Vicious Sickle in its hand, ready to strike.

Unsurprisingly, this hilarious reimagining of a Korok caught the attention of numerousTears of the Kingdomplayers on Reddit. The post has gained over 2.3K upvotes in less than a day. In the comments, a number of Reddit users complimented LunarRose on their impressive clay sculpture of a Yiga Clan-inspired Korok. In addition, a number of gamers could not help making jokes based on the lines spoken by the tiny wooden people in the game. “Yig-ha-ha! I found you!” one user quipped. Furthermore, some wondered what it would be like to battle a Korok from the Yiga Clan in the game, with some speculating that it would be able to move very fast.

With the success ofTears of the Kingdom, it is not surprising to see the amount of attention the game has been receiving on social media. From fan art like this Yiga Clan Korok to tricks and tips to make the game easier, there is no shortage of content related to the title on the internet. As players wait for news about potentialDLC forTears of the Kingdom, time will tell what other creations talentedZeldafans share with the community.
